Welcome to the first Global Sisterhood Blog Post! We are SO excited to begin breaking the silence on sexual abuse and to be talking about things that are important to girls and women in general. So what can you expect from this blog? You can expect interesting discussions! We want to stimulate and encourage conversation and dialogue. Like what, you may ask? For instance, what makes a dating relationship healthy? What if your partner yells at you occasionally...is that Ok? What about if they have a hard time sharing you with your friends...isn't that just sweet? Or what about if you're out with a guy you really like, but he takes things too far sexually...is that abuse? If you like someone and you start kissing them, does that mean the guy can take it farther even if you don't want to? We'll tackle the tough questions and get you thinking about things that matter to you! You can expect fun! We're going to talk about friendships, fun, healthy things to do in your community and supporting other women...good stuff! And you can also expect to learn new things. We'll talk about how to cope with anger, anxiety and sadness. We'll teach you about maintaining not only a healthy diet, but also a healthy mind. And you'll learn about the easiest and most natural way to reduce stress!
