Host Your Own Event

Thank you for your interest in supporting The Global Sisterhood! TGS can only be as effective as our fundraising efforts and we can't do it alone. By hosting your own event to benefit TGS, you are allowing us to focus on our mission of empowering girls all over the world.

Frequently Asked Questions

1) Why would I host an event for TGS? There are so many reasons to host an event! Maybe you have been wondering what it feels like to bartend and you want to throw a guest bartending event at Irish Eyes on Lincoln. Perhaps you want to shop at Akira without all the financial guilt. Maybe you and your friends love to bowl and you figure you may as well make a donation while you do it. Or perhaps you just want to get your friends together for a good cause. Whatever your reason, hosting an event for TGS is always fun.

2) How do I host an event for TGS? It's easy! Send us an email letting us know what you'd like to do. We're happy to answer any questions you have. Then, contact a venue to set up the event, get a hold of your friends to get them excited about it and...poof! You're hosting your own event for TGS!

3) What kinds of events would work? Any event! You can have a bowling party, an all-you-can-drink party at a local bar, a jewelry party, a purse party, a dinner party, a shopping party...the ideas are endless and lots of fun!

4) Where would I have an event? You can have an event almost anywhere! Your work place, your favorite restaurant or bar, your school, the local YMCA, a nearby park...all of these places and more would make for a great fundraising venue.

5) How would we make the donation? You would simply collect the money that you fundraised and write a check to The Global Sisterhood.
